Join a ranger on a peaceful twilight paddle around Marbury Lake at Fort Yargo. We'll watch for wading birds and other critters as the sun sets and the full moon rises. Open to adults and children 5 years and older who are accompanied by an adult. You may choose a kayak or canoe. Pre-registration required. CASH or CHECK ONLY. It's time to replace the chinking on the 'old fort'. Living History will make the chinking onsite and would love to have everyone come out this weekend and help stomp in the mud. Be prepared to get dirty. There will be a hayride to the beach several times during the day Saturday to help with cleanup. Bring an instrument and let's have an evening of bonfire and music Saturday Night! Dinner will be served on Saturday night at 6 pm. An you can camp by the Old Fort for $5.00 per tent per night. $5 parking. 770-867-4632.
