Dendrology: Winter Tree Identification Saturday, Feb 2, 2013 10 AM to 12 PM This event has already occurred.   (Archived) This two-hour ranger-led hike will show you basics to identifying common trees and other woody vegetation during the winter time. 20-25 species will be identified with the common and scientific names as well as some key characteristics to help you find these trees even when most trees don't have any leaves.
