Amicalola Falls State Park hosts several weddings each year, usually at the top of the waterfall or near the reflection pool at the bottom. If you would prefer to be inside, our lodge makes for a beautiful setting.
Afterward, receptions can be held on our stone veranda, inside the lodge banquet rooms, or even in a picnic shelter.

For Weddings at The Falls
Amicalola Falls State Park receives nearly 1 million visitors each year, and outdoor areas are public areas.
For this reason, space around the waterfall cannot be reserved.
However, weddings are welcome and visitors often enjoy watching ceremonies.
We ask that outdoor weddings have small guest lists.
Tents, chairs, trellises, flowers, decorations, rice or music are not allowed.
Remember that there is a chance of Mother Nature spoiling your event, so couples should be aware that back-up plans may be needed.
Some choose to reserve a picnic shelter or other facility in advance, even if they are not used.
For larger ceremonies or receptions, couples may rent covered picnic areas, the enclosed group shelter or the Upper Amphitheater.

The Lodge at Amicalola Falls is a beautiful setting for weddings. We have banquet rooms, a stone veranda with sweeping mountain views, guest rooms and catering. Our professional event coordinator can help you plan the perfect ceremony and reception. To schedule a tour, call 800-573-9656.
In order to ensure you will have enjoyable memories, please review the following information:
The wedding ceremony may take place at our Lodge on the outdoor Veranda, inside the Lower Lobby of the hotel or our private banquet rooms. The set up fee for the use of the outdoor Veranda or Lower Lobby is $450.00. The maximum capacity for the Veranda is 100 people and the Lower Lobby can accommodate up to 75 people.
We suggest renting the entire Banquet Hall to prevent any other groups from meeting during your wedding and reception. The room rental of $1,800.00 includes the Oak Hall, the Veranda and the Lower Lobby for your wedding reception.
You may choose from any of our dinner or reception menus. The Lodge MUST provide all food & beverage, except for the wedding cake.
Beer and Wine is provided through either a Host or Cash bar. There is a $40.00 bartender fee for the first hour and $10.00 for each additional hour with a three-hour minimum on Cash or Host Bars. Beer and Wine must be provided through the Lodge. The Lodge may not service, carry or store liquor.
We will automatically block one hour set up time prior to the event. We welcome your own personal florists, disk jockeys, bands, photographers, ministers and cake decorators to set up earlier in the day. Speciality items such as arches, dance floors, candlesticks, extra chairs, etc. may be rented by outside vendors and are the group's responsibility.
All weddings will require a two night minimum stay of at least 15 guest rooms. We ask that your guests make all reservations for these rooms at least 30-days in advance. They will be asked for a credit card and charged an advance deposit of the first night’s room rate when making their reservation. Your lodge sales contact will supply you with the necessary telephone numbers for your guest to call when making their reservations. If there are any rooms in your block of rooms not used, the difference plus applicable taxes will be applied to your master account.
One-half of the total estimated charges will be required as a deposit upon signing the contract. Two weeks before the event date, 100% of all estimated charges are due.
