 Hosting Opportunities

NOTICE: We now have a host opportunity at Sprewell Bluff State Outdoor Recreation Area.

The campground host program is one of our most popular volunteer opportunities. In exchange for a free campsite and utilities, campground hosts volunteer to meet and greet arriving campers, offer check-in assistance, perform minor maintenance tasks and meet visitors from all over the world.

Hosts volunteer for a minimum of two months up to a maximum of six months. Hosts contribute a minimum of 24 hours per week per couple.

Apply to be a host:

OTHER HOSTING OPPORTUNITIES:
  • Towns Bluff RV Park and Campground is looking for an honest, hard working and friendly single or couple to serve as volunteer camp hosts for the summer months and possibly beyond. We are a small, quiet, county-maintained park located in the piney woods of South Georgia on the banks of the Altamaha River, near Hazlehurst, Georgia. We offer a free hookup site with power, water, sewer, and laundry, in exchange for host duties. Starting May 1, 2009. Duties would include greeting and registering campers, cleaning restrooms, checking the day-use area of the park, and various others as needed. Two days off are provided. Check our website, www.townsbluff.com for more information about the park. Contact park managers at 912-379-9303 or park@townsbluff.com, if interested.
