Weddings at Red Top Mountain

Facilities: Red Top Mountain State Park & Lodge has banquet facilities in the Lodge or two Group Shelters within the park that are popular for weddings. The Lakeside Ballroom, located inside the lodge, may be reserved for $425.00 per day and can accommodate up to 90 guests in a banquet setting or 150 guests reception style. With the exception of the wedding cake, the lodge must cater all food and beverage served in our banquet facilities. The enclosed group shelters can be reserved for $230.00 - $250.00 per day. Group Shelter 1 is heated/air-conditioned and can accommodate up to 100 people with Group Shelter 2 is heated and large enough for up 250 guests. Catering services from the Lodge are not available for weddings using the group shelters but you may provide your own catering.

Set-up and Preparation:  Florists, disc jockeys, bands, photographers and cake decorators are welcome to set up at any time on the day of your event.  The Lodge welcomes rented items such as dance floors, arches, candelabras, special linens, chairs and chair coverings, and special lighting. It is the guest's responsibility to arrange for the delivery and pick up of these items. Please contact the sales department to help coordinate your planning and to receive a listing of rental company recommendations. 

Since group shelters are rented by the day, they are available from 10:00 a.m. - 9:45 p.m. If you wish to use the Group Shelters the day before your scheduled event for rehearsals or decorating, the shelters must be reserve for the additional day at the per-day fee.   

Overnight Guest Rooms: All weddings, held in the Lodge, require a two-night minimum of at least 15 guest rooms. Your guests must make reservations at least 30-days in advance. If any unused rooms remain in your room block, the payment for the unused rooms (plus applicable taxes) will be applied to your master account.  No lodging is required with Shelter rental.

Billing Information: One-half of the total estimated charges for your event will be due as a deposit upon signing our contract.  Three-weeks prior to your event, the balance of the estimated charges will be due.
